Divertimento Ensemble is selecting young pianists to perform in a concert dedicated to the piano works of György Ligeti in the programme of the Ensemble’s 2018 Rondò concert season.
Up to eight candidates selected will be eligible to participate in a masterclass held by Maria Grazia Bellocchio, consisting of eight sessions that will take place in Milan, during the period of November 2017 to May 2018.
The repertoire studied will be performed at a concert of Divertimento Ensemble’s 2018 Rondò season to be held in the month of May in Milan, and will be replicated in other Italian cities.
All the selected pianists will participate in the concerts.
The selection is open to pianists of all nationalities born after 1 January 1983.
Applications to participate in the selection must be submitted no later than 15 October 2017 by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Each candidate must include in his/her application:
– application form: en_FormCFYP2018
– a curriculum;
– his/her own repertoire of music of the 1900s;
– the compositions that he/she intends to perform, chosen from amongst the proposed repertoire;
– an audio or video registration of the candidate’s performance of compositions of the 1900s (not compulsory);
– receipt of payment by bank transfer of the registration fee of € 30.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of the documentation submitted.
The result of the selection will be communicated to all applicants by electronic mail no later than 25 October 2017.
The cost of the masterclass is €250, to be payed within November 10, 2017.
